Ivory Goose has washed and sorted down in its own factory since 1988. The washing line and the sorting machines are ours. Duck down and goose down both come through, white and grey.
Nothing on this site is bought in as a finished comforter and relabeled. The down is washed here. The three comforters are filled by hand here, then sewn as a 3D baffle-box construction.
The factory washes duck down and goose down. White and grey both come through the workshop. Haven, Serenity, and Elysian are filled with white down. Those three are the comforters we sell under our own name.
The usual shell is a 450 thread count cloth: 50% modal, 38% polyester, and 12% cotton. 100% cotton is the other choice. Higher fill power means more loft, not a heavier comforter.
Haven is 95% white duck down at 800 fill power. Light as air, and warm when you need it. Serenity is 95% white goose down at 850. Same weight, higher loft, more refined. Elysian is 98% white goose down at 900. Exceptionally light. Exceptionally soft.
